About-Line2.png

Rallysport Engineering understand that some students have the ability to learn quicker than others, that's why we work at a very low student to teacher ratio allowing maximum time with each student and the ability to adapt our teaching methods to suit the learners individual needs and provide a fully tailored learning experience in a safe, relaxed and exciting environment.

The curriculum at the academy is based on a philosophy of "learning by doing", of which 80% of the learning time is practical based and carried out by experienced staff whilst working in our fully equipped workshops to stringent health and safety regulations.

We re-enforce the mechanical skills students learn through the inclusion of exciting and unique projects such as race car preparation and our Rallysport Ford Focus and Fiesta rally cars, where we endeavor to teach all of our students the skills and techniques needed to help them realise their potential, gain responsibility for their actions, and provide them with the strongest possible foundations from which they can build upon to create a prosperous career in the motor vehicle industry.

To date the Rallysport Engineering Academy has worked with over 40 different schools and organisations offering a roll-on roll-off service for which students can join any time during the academic year and start working towards completing one of the many qualification that we offer in motor vehicle mechanics.

Wickford

Now in its 11th year Wickford was our first provision to open, and has proven that a well structured, safe, relaxing and enjoyable learning environment works.

To date over 400 qualifications have been awarded to our young learners via our Wickford provision.

We moved our Wickford academy to a bigger building 6 years ago helping to provide our students with a better working environment for them to learn.  With constant investment and improvement it proves we aim to provide the best facilities for our young learners.

We don't stand still at Rallysport, with a passion to improve our brand, our facilities and most importantly the overall learning experience for all of our students.

Colchester

The reception and support that we have received in Colchester has been amazing. We were already catering for over 100 students per week and working with 20 different schools made up from PRU's, mainstream schools and schools specialising in assisting those with learning difficulties.

Along with the alternative education provision on offer at Colchester, we also have Rallysport Automotive which is a fully functioning commercial repair and tuning centre open to members of the public. Students will have the opportunity to work on a one-to-one basis with a qualified instructor whilst using the latest industry equipment, from Boston GE and Pro-Align. Working within a real world environment opens us up to the possibility of taking on apprentices from either of the academy sites.

We provide an alternative learning environment from that of a school or college and replicate a working environment. This sets our young learners up for a job in the motor industry and with the addition of the commercial side of Rallysport Engineering providing real work experience, this will enhance any young learners C.V and we hope prove very successful in improving behaviour and commitment - We are not only building cars, but building futures.

Rallysport Automotive our sister company proudly supports both Rallysport Engineering Academy sites by helping to fund them as well as supplying tools and equipment for our students to use.
