Rallysport Engineering understand that some students have the ability to learn quicker than others, that's why we work at a very low student to tutor ratio allowing maximum time with each student and the ability to adapt our teaching methods to suit the learners individual needs and provide a fully tailored learning experience in a safe, relaxed and exciting environment.
The curriculum at the academy is based on a philosophy of "learning by doing", of which 80% of the learning time is practical based and carried out by experienced staff whilst working in our fully equipped workshops to stringent health and safety regulations.
We re-enforce the mechanical skills students learn through the inclusion of exciting and unique projects such as race car preparation and our Rallysport Ford Fiesta rally car, where we endeavor to teach all of our students the skills and techniques needed to help them realise their potential, gain responsibility for their actions, and provide them with the strongest possible foundations from which they can build upon to create a prosperous career in the motor vehicle industry.
To date the Rallysport Engineering Academy has worked with over 150 different schools and organisations offering a roll-on roll-off service for which students can join any time during the academic year and start working towards completing one of the many qualification that we offer in motor vehicle mechanics.
Wickford
Now in its 12th year Wickford was our first provision to open, and has proven that a well structured, safe, relaxing and enjoyable learning environment works.
To date over 500 qualifications have been awarded to our young learners via our Wickford provision.
We moved our Wickford academy to a bigger building 9 years ago helping to provide our students with a better working environment for them to learn. With constant investment and improvement it proves we aim to provide the best facilities for our young learners.

The reception and support that we received when we set up our Colchester academy in 2014 was amazing with us quickly having to move to a bigger site.

Now in it's 10th year our Colchester academy has followed in the success of our Wickford academy with over 400 qualifications being awarded to our young learners.
We cater for over 50 students a week and work
with numerous schools made up from PRU's, mainstream schools and schools specialising in assisting those with learning difficulties as well as the local councils all from both the Essex and Suffolk area.

With a large number of project cars to work on students have the ability to learn mechanics while working on one off specialised projects that have won awards at car shows around the country as well as featuring in car magazines.

We provide an alternative learning environment from that of a school or college and replicate a working environment, this helps our young learners when moving on from school to either continue their studies at local colleges or for an apprenticeship in the motor industry. We provide real hands on work experience which will enhance any young learners C.V and we hope prove very successful in improving behavior and commitment - We are not only building cars, but building futures.​​
